When you long for the day you don't have to carry both your 4 month old and your two year old up to the third floor...
When you absentmindedly cancel a well visit for you son because you were encouraged to do so by the receptionist, then you find out the next available spot for two kids is at the end of August...
When you wish you were surrounded by family...
When you love the community around you and can't imagine being anywhere else...
When you get the scary phone call about a parent and aren't sure what the future will hold...
When you get the good news that everything is going to be OK...
When your doorbell rings and it's friends ready to play...
When the house is a mess and kids are crying...
When you get the kitchen cleaned right after breakfast and kids are happily playing...
When your hubby has lots of work on his plate and you feel like ships passing in the night...
When your hubby decides to come home to work late instead of staying at the office to work late so you can eat dinner and do songs and Bible story as a family...
When it seems like your other half couldn't possibly understand what you need and you don't have the energy to try to figure it out yourself...
When your other half pauses to rub your shoulders on his way to get a fork, or makes you stop making dinner to dance with him in the kitchen...
When your canceled well visits turn into an impromptu play date with mom friends in someone else's backyard...
When a friend brings out a bag of clothes for others to pick through and you find some cute dresses for yourself...
When you feel like you are constantly playing catch up...
When you feel like you are so on top of things...
When you get time to be still and rest in the middle of the day...
When you get to the end of the day and realized you never sat down...
When you wonder what it's all about...
When you tuck in a little boy at the end of the day and he asks for "Papperd" (23 Psalm) and "Gway Gwace" (Amazing Grace) and you realize this is what it's all about...
When the reality that God stays the same no matter how your day or attitude is sinks into your heart...
When you stop to think, and realize life is happening all around you in the "whens".
Love this, friend!
